Ever wondered why,
The one you ever had as your habitual prick-
Even as a child, never mastered the trick
to chide you as and when you irk?
The blessing in disguise,
To shower wishes all your life;
Born the very minute you were,
just to breath you love and care;
From the very birth, you threw
Cries, whines, stares and snares.
Yet, through it all she blew
the best, to love her young bear.
No matter what, you dart or art;
The angel lives to love you with all her heart.
A person who’d view, treat and love you,
for what you once where - A bairn.
A little ode to the one whose warmth
stays with one forever – Mother.
