The day's Toast ;)

Life - It's BIGGER, BUSIER and
a LOT MORE...
Still... I'm lovin it ;)

It sure does, The bigger it gets, the faster we move, the faster
we move, the busier it gets... As I type these words, am reminded
of the term "rat race". I do know that the term has got nothing to
do with the context am posting about. Yet, I wonder why???
Hmmm, it is probably because of the unbreakable cycle that gets
created in both the cases.
That's the only relation that I could think of, at this hour.
Human brain is a lot more than just complicated. It's by far the best
machine mankind has ever seen. Wonder how it would be, if one
could tap the entire potential of it...
I guess I've moved miles away from what i actually wanted to post :P
w.r.t the busy schedule...
I happen to have become very busy, tangled up with lots of work.
In a way, my situation could be the perfect example of the term
"Complex Simplicities"
I've been working on paper presentations...
Apart from these, I've also got my self cramped with a business plan.
The business plan was the first one to be started, and it's been in construction
for a good while, and it sure is turning out to be a good one... :)
The paper presentations are actually the latest of the sprouts and they seem
to be eating my time to their fullest.
I'm making sure that, I'm giving no less than a 100% . While am actually
striving for a bit more than just 100%.
Well, 24 hours a day, seems to be a fire in disguise.
It all depends on the way it's handled.
As the "T.D" quote goes...
Am not just playing with fire but have dipped the matches in gasoline...
I hardly get time to sleep. I try to catch up with sleep while traveling
to and fro college by my college bus. And if anything interesting pops up,
the little nap is far off my track ;)
But when it comes to lectures at college, a few do more than just their job.
finally... a little nap ;) :P
With competitions fast approaching, I hope to emerge with flying colours.
Adieu pals >>>

The day's Toast ;)

What do I say about my day...
A lot of things have been happening.
I've got a national mock CAT exam tomorrow. Yet here
I'm blogging about the day...
Well... let me start from the beginning, I woke up by 8.00 after
a long nights video conference on the paper presentation that am
supposed to make, in a few days.
Mom woke me up, with a work at hand and I was left with no choice
but, to go by the laws of the roof and finish it.. lol..
well not exactly, no such rules.. But, I managed to finish it.
Clocked kept ticking, and it was evening...
Dad came home, with Dates and walnut cake and
lots more :P
Now that's what I call, a good evening snack...
Soon, I got busy... eating :D
Evening, after snack was packed with phone calls and discussions
over projects and presentations and similar stuff...
Though I haven't posted much, you could pretty much
assume how eventful my day would have been.
With lots of laughter and joy, I close this days post, saying--
Well, that's the way through which sailed my eventful day ;)

A foreign tourist hired a guide to take him around Delhi and Agra. At the

Red Fort at Delhi, he admired the architecture and asked how many years it

took to build.

Twenty years, replied the guide.

You Indians are a lazy lot. The tourist said. .In my country, this could have

been built in five..

At Agra he admired the Taj’s beauty and asked how many years it took to

build.

Only ten years, said the guide.

The tourist retorted: .You Indians are slow! We can construct such buildings

in two-and-a-half..

In this fashion the tourist claimed that every building he admired could have

been built in his country in quarter the time. Finally, when they reached the

Qutab Minar and the tourist asked what it was, the guide replied: .I don’t

know. It wasn’t there yesterday evening... ; )

The Seed ... " As you sow, So you reap "

"Whatever You Give To Life, Life Gives You Back"

I recieved the below passage as a forward to my mail. I liked it.

It occurred to me that I should blog it and so did I.

Hope you'll like it too...!!!

A successful business man was growing old and
knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business.

Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children,
he decided to do something different. He called all the young
executives in his company together.

He said, "It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO.
I have decided to choose one of you. "The young executives were
Shocked, but the boss continued. "I am going to give each one
of you a SEED today - one very special SEED. I want you to plant
the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today with
what you have grown from the seed I have given you. I will then
judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be
the next CEO."

One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others,
received a seed. He went home and excitedly, told his wife the
story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted
the seed. Everyday, he would water it and watch to see if it had
grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began
to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.

Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew.

Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing.

By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn't have
a plant and he felt like a failure.
Six months went by -- still nothing in Jim's pot. He just knew he
had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but
he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however.
He just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - He so wanted the
seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company
brought their plants to the CEO for inspection.
Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot.
But she asked him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick
to his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment
of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot
to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety
of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful --
in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and
many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him!

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young
executives.

Jim just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees,
and flowers you have grown," said the CEO. "Today one of you will
be appointed the next CEO!"

All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with
his empty pot. He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to
the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, "The CEO knows I'm a
failure! Maybe he will have me fired!"

When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened
to his seed - Jim told him the story.

The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim,
and then announced to the young executives, "Behold your next
Chief Executive Officer!

His name is Jim!" Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow
his seed.

"How could he be the new CEO?" the others said.

Then the CEO said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone in this
room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it,
and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds;
they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow.

All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and
flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you
substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the
only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with
my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new
Chief Executive Officer!"

*
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

* If you plant goodness, you will reap friends

* If you plant humility, you will reap greatness

* If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment

* If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective

* If you plant hard work, you will reap success

* If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation

So, be careful what you plant now;
It will determine what you will reap later...

The day's Toast ;)

Not every day turns to greet you and come by your way...
Sometimes, they do come with their share of disappointments.
Life gets plain when its all the same for one to call it, yet another day.
Today's share is one that I may not be able to bare. Not knowing what's in
store, I set forth hopping for a better day.
Well that was only about the evening, the morning was good.
I do have a reason to post things this way... It's just to close things on a happy
note, hopping to carry that happiness through to the next post >>>
Well, there seems to be an idea surge in my B.P team.
Things seem to be heading the right way in that place...
And that's the way it's been... My, emotionally commixed day ...

The day's Toast ;)

The day turned out to be great...
Way better than what I had expected from it... :)

Plans for presenting a new paper had started off in a good way. >>>
Frankly speaking, I hardly have any energy left in me, to blog.
With the lids painting my vision black, I head to my bed to get
back something I really lack... A good nights rest... Sleep ;)

The day's Toast ;)

It has been a very constructive and productive day...
I must say, it has been a long one too.. a very long one...
I still don't know, where exactly i stand, and how long i must go on before i get to sooth my nerves in on my spongy bouncy customized bed ...
I've just started to work on a Paper with a friend of mine, and now that I'am into it, I've decided to give it my 100% and if possible more...
[ Well, the bounds can always be pushed to get more ;) ] .
We have just short listed a few topics through a long deliberative passage of time boggling words.
Thought I'll post my day's toast before i happen to fall asleep while working.
