I finally got to kiss her, but, it just wasn't enough ;)

Yes. It's true. I finally got to kiss her, after a long wait
of around 6 months.
I knew I was inching closer to her month by month.
Time sure swept through the days.
I finally got to kiss her.
Well, now that's enough.
I was referring to the Business plans trophy as "her".
Well, after a lot of hard work and research we
(me and my team) made it to the finals.
The SAE India's National convention 2009.
The judges were totally satisfied with our presentation.
The moment we finished our presentation,
It was all music to our ears.
Yeah. Judges said "that was an excellent presentation".
And that's just not it.
During the question hour, when ALL the other teams
were totally bashed up by the judges, we had just
three to face. And with the best answers being given,
all that we heard was "good" for the first time of the day.
We still couldn't believe that the question hour was over.
After the competition, I heard the judges telling the
co-ordinators that the results will be given to them only
by the next day, and thus the results and the prize
distribution will be done only on the
second day (16.00 hours).
Everything seems to be good. But, the results weren't
the way we expected.
Well, no plan is the best. Any plan can always be made
better over time. That's one thing I strongly believe in.
Two of our college students stayed back in Coimbatore
while we came back to Chennai as we had our model
exam the day after.
The results were announced.
We were told that we had won the 2nd place in the
national convention.
We were told that the judges wanted to have a few
clarifications done. But we were back in Chennai,
getting our days work done. Thus, the results were
announced and we were 2nd.
Well, a lot of good things happened too.
A good few good looking fans following me, right
after my presentation ;)
Well. Things were going great; it's just that the
results weren't the way I expected.
Nevertheless, I'm Happy about the win. Thanks
to the ones who wished me success
from the bottom of their hearts.
Wishes are on thing that, I'll always need from all
your beautiful hearts.
I finally got to kiss her, but it just wasn't
enough. Nevertheless, the kiss was sweet.
Very Sweet indeed!!!
Sweet smell of success ;)

Sweet smell of success ;)

Yay!!!
I'm very happy to say that, I've won the SAE India's business
plan competition tier II level.
It sure feels good to be placed on the top spot. Yeah, we bagged
the first place when thus have qualified for the nationals, or do
I have to say, To Win the nationals ;)
That sure sounds good, and that's exactly what I need to do, with
my team.
The tier II event was conducted in MNM Jain College, Chennai.
The chief guest was a person with loads of credentials.
His experience and expertise were made good use of, by a good
lot of industries, including SAIL for the purpose of recruitment
in the selection panel.
At present, he is with UCOL as Vice President H.R.
We were told that the nationals is to be held on the first week
of October.
My mobile ran out of battery charge and I thus wasn't in a position
to share the happy news to my friends (immediately)...
The day turned out to be fruitful. :) :) :)
That's the way the days has been... really good ;) :)

The day's Toast ;)

I understand that it's been a very long time since I've blogged.
Been a lot busy and things had pushed me off my blogging
boundaries. I wonder how it all happened.
From the times which saw multiple posts a day to times when
i simply couldn't post anything.
To all my visitors who kept visiting my blog expected to see
a post or at least an update from me...
SORRY PALS !!!

Hoping, the pic says it all ;)

Well, that's that. and now that I've started blogging...
I just wanna say... I'm BACK!!!
I came across a few really good videos...
I felt that I should share it with you all. It is quite probable for
you to have seen it, considering the popularity of this video.
If not, watch it, enjoy it, and slip in your comments. :)

This weekend had been really productive.
My CAT prep class was very useful. Things seem to be getting
very effective by the day. With the ticking second playing its
good part on mine, I was happy to look turn around and say,
not bad, it indeed was a fruitful day ;)
I happen to meet a student of IIM-A :)
I now have someone with some real experience, to tell how life is
after graduating from of THE best b school of the country.
I must say, I did get to know a lot of people(new) in the last few
weeks :)
What else, tough times, crampy times, mistakes, blunders,
wonders, effectiveness, productive utility, new friends, new intros,
Bigger and wider friends network and on...
The past few weeks have been loaded with lots and lots of
interesting stuff.
I've got lots of things planned for the week ahead.
The SAE tier II business plan competition is fast approaching.
It's scheduled to be on 10th of this month. I need to get prepared
to register a win.
With lots of plans, I look forth for a brighter and fun filled day :) :) :)

Sweet smell of success ;)

We Won!!! (My Team)
SAE India conducted its tier I Business Plan competition
in our college.
My team secured first place, and we thus have been qualified
to contest in tier II competition :)
There was a bit of confusion during the announcement of the
results, which made things a lot more interesting.
And finally, the results were announced and the first place
was awarded to none other than "My Team". (Pic- Me in Black shirt)

Am happy, very happy indeed...
I really needed to win this round and move on to the next,
and to the next, in order to win this event and the rolling trophy.
It was probably because of the fact that I had embedded
so well and strong in my mind that, I didn't go around jumping
as soon as the results were announced...
But, at heart, I was very happy. I've been bestowed with the
key that I wanted.
Business plan was one competition that I wanted to win,
and happy that the dream has come true.
I'm happy to be on the right track, in order to relish my dreams.
With all your wishes, and a lot more than just 100% of myself
I hope to win this event and lots more in future :) ;) :)

The day's Toast ;)

I guess it's been a while since I've posted.
Well, it has been a busy day and yesterday was a lot more
than just busy.. I dozed off by the side of my comp :P
Let me put it this way...
I was working on my B.plan and was on with the
discussions. After doing a good deal of work as decided, I felt
that I must give some room for rest on my BUSY day.
Taking my hands of the keyboard I laid back on my bed
thinking about how to go about with work on the most
cramped up schedule of mine.
I could realise the amount of tiredness in me considering
the way my eye lids were burning from beneath.
The next thing I could realise was a loud call. It was my dad.
He was hailing my name ... Asking me to wake up and that, it
was morning >>>
I must confess... I had a really good sound sleep!!!
And so paced the day, busy and fun filled ;) as usual.
Ah.. I almost forgot mentioning about the Harvard
Business Review.
I was able to get my hands on one, and i went through a case study.
It was good, really good. I've decided to read it on a regular basis.
The evening turned out to be fine ;)
Planning to get nocturnal and type in the data required for the plan
in the requested format.
And that's it for the day...

The day's Toast ;)

Life - It's BIGGER, BUSIER and
a LOT MORE...
Still... I'm lovin it ;)

It sure does, The bigger it gets, the faster we move, the faster
we move, the busier it gets... As I type these words, am reminded
of the term "rat race". I do know that the term has got nothing to
do with the context am posting about. Yet, I wonder why???
Hmmm, it is probably because of the unbreakable cycle that gets
created in both the cases.
That's the only relation that I could think of, at this hour.
Human brain is a lot more than just complicated. It's by far the best
machine mankind has ever seen. Wonder how it would be, if one
could tap the entire potential of it...
I guess I've moved miles away from what i actually wanted to post :P
w.r.t the busy schedule...
I happen to have become very busy, tangled up with lots of work.
In a way, my situation could be the perfect example of the term
"Complex Simplicities"
I've been working on paper presentations...
Apart from these, I've also got my self cramped with a business plan.
The business plan was the first one to be started, and it's been in construction
for a good while, and it sure is turning out to be a good one... :)
The paper presentations are actually the latest of the sprouts and they seem
to be eating my time to their fullest.
I'm making sure that, I'm giving no less than a 100% . While am actually
striving for a bit more than just 100%.
Well, 24 hours a day, seems to be a fire in disguise.
It all depends on the way it's handled.
As the "T.D" quote goes...
Am not just playing with fire but have dipped the matches in gasoline...
I hardly get time to sleep. I try to catch up with sleep while traveling
to and fro college by my college bus. And if anything interesting pops up,
the little nap is far off my track ;)
But when it comes to lectures at college, a few do more than just their job.
finally... a little nap ;) :P
With competitions fast approaching, I hope to emerge with flying colours.
Adieu pals >>>
